Just having a drawing or description is NOT enough. A working model or a physical proptotye is critical for your start-up's success!
 
In this session, Gene Sherman will discuss the new and incredible resources avaiilabe to entreprenurs who are developing physical products such as hardware, consumer products, and other new inventions.

Topics to be dicussed:

Napkin sketches and drawings are not enough if you are creating a physical product. People want to see the prototype in real life! 

Come learn the basics of how to use 3D printers AND print your first part! You will learn all the steps, including: finding a model/object online, how to transfer information to the printers, proper machine set-up, and safe use. You will upload a 3D model, learn the software, set up the 3D Printer, fine tune the settings, and print your first part. Essential knowledge in creating protoypes of your idea! 
  • 4 hour class. $140 per person.

This first class introduces students to state-of-the-art Fusion 360 CAD software by AutoDesk. We will teach you the basics such as: user interface, sketching tools, going from 2D to 3D shapes, and creating your first 3-D modeled part. Essential knowledge in creating three dimensional drawings of your protoypes and ideas!
