Rose Wang has been an entrepreneur since immigrating to the US in the 3rd grade. It started out with selling her drawings on a stick at daycare; in high school, she explored e-commerce by importing Asian cosmetics into the western Hemisphere; while in college at Dartmouth, she started a biotech company to fight against aging with a herbal extract. Now, Rose is pursuing a passion from her inner child: making electric rideables that are accessible and affordable for the masses. After her international team created a prototype of a new rideable category called Scooterboard, which combines the handle of a scooter with the riding stance of a skateboard, she took the product to Kickstarter to jumpstart her company's operations. Her Kickstarter project for Scooterboard was funded within 48 hours of launch. She hopes that Scooterboard will allow more people to enjoy the fun and unique feeling that was off-limits before, and open the door to encourage more innovation in the electric rideables industry.
